Kiwanis

On Tuesday, June 20th I will be speaking to the Eldora Kiwanis at 11:45 a.m. at the Hardin County Savings Bank.

Open to the Public

Memorial Day weekend was a first for the CCC/POW Recreational Hall to be open in 2012.  It was hectic and we learned a lot about what we should have done earlier (like blogging, and writing a script for area newspapers).  A big thank you to Dwight Clark for sharing some of his military collection.  We had a total attendance of about 50, which was not bad with the little publicity.

Onward and Upward -
The CCC/POW Recreational Hall will be open July 11-15, 2012 for the Hardin County Fair (Eldora, Iowa) from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, Sunday 1-6 p.m.

Pine Lake Festival will be held in Eldora July 27-29.  The CCC/POW Building will ONLY be open Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Displays will be changed for each event.  Hope to see you there.
